Busy day ‘specially for a Saturday ! St …

Busy day ‘specially for a Saturday ! Started out I took Puppy to the groomers, then got a sandwich for breakfast. I cleaned the house some and started the wash. I had planned to pay bills, but so far have not.

Something bit me right on the ass and I decided to lug the trundle bed Sweetous found on Craig’s list upstairs and put it together. That was some serious work !

In few minutes got to go get Puppy from the groomer and perhaps go loiter somewhere. Maybe I’ll go to Church this evening….

Sometime this weekend I do need to pay the bills and I also brought some work home from the office that I ought to do….

pondering the seeming invincibility of evil….

In response to a friend’s questions about why does evil seem to always get the upper hand ? Why do evil people always seem to come out on top ? Why are people so susceptible to evil ?

The short answer is that we really don’t know why God allows evil to exist and have so  much influence. I’m no theologian or philosopher but I do like to ponder things theological, so I collected some reading material that may be of interest to my friend and others with similar questions. Although it may seem like evil has the upper hand I live by faith that we have a good God and that He really does win in the end. Another thing I have confidence in is that whatever evil a persons does will follow them around and eventually bite them in the ass either in this world or the world to come; no one gets away with anything even if it seems like they do !

So here are links to the reading material as promised:

“God is not capricious. He’s given us a creation that is dynamically stable. We are not going to run out of anything.”

That does not make sense ! If something is dynamic it is changing, and of course not stable ! If something is stable or not changing, it is likely to be dead or useless. I’m not a scientist nor a theologian but Rep. Beard’s statement really does not make good sense at all…
